Sponsor: Resonix Labs Corporation, 71 Fort Street, 3rd Floor, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands KY1-9009 (“Sponsor”).
Contact: challenge@resonixlabs.io
Contest URL: https://www.resonix.io/challenge
These Official Rules apply to Solver Survivor 2026 (the “Contest”). By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
12.1 Contest period
The Contest opens at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time on October 8, 2026 and closes at the earlier of:
- 100 valid entries (as defined below), or
- 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 31, 2026.
Sponsor’s systems are the official timekeeping device. After close, no new entries will be accepted.
Winners will be announced on the Contest URL on or about November 9, 2026.
12.2 No purchase necessary
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
SolvScout is available free to registered users. A 30-day SolvSRK trial is available under its applicable evaluation terms. Purchase of any Resonix product is not required and does not improve scoring or odds.
12.3 Eligibility
The Contest is open worldwide to individuals who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is greater) at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law.
Not eligible: employees, officers, directors, contractors, and representatives of Sponsor and its affiliates; anyone who works on Contest administration or judging; prize suppliers engaged for this Contest; and members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, children) or households.
Entrants must have the legal right and any employer, institution, customer, or other third-party permission required to participate and to submit their material. Entrants are responsible for complying with their employer’s and any applicable export-control or confidentiality rules.
12.4 How to enter
During the Contest Period:
- Create or use a Resonix account on resonix.io and use SolvScout on a real Python ODE / simulation or research problem.
- If SolvScout recommends SolvSRK, activate the SolvSRK trial and test it on that problem (locally).
- While logged in, complete and submit the official entry form linked from https://www.resonix.io/challenge (separate entry page; login required).
- Accept these Official Rules, the Privacy Policy, and the required acknowledgements on the form.
Entry limit: up to two (2) entries per person / account during the Contest Period, each about a different problem. Incomplete, duplicate, automated, corrupted, late, or non-compliant submissions may be rejected or disqualified.
Do not submit: source code, proprietary models, customer data, personal data of another person, confidential information, classified or export-controlled information, trade secrets, or any material you are not authorized to disclose. Script fields are for SolvScout / SolvSRK call snippets only.
Sponsor does not ask for license or subscription numbers on the form. Product use is verified from the logged-in account.
12.5 Valid entries
A valid entry is a complete submission that:
- Includes all required form fields and required acknowledgements;
- Describes real use of SolvScout and SolvSRK (including the required script snippets);
- Is associated with a logged-in account that has SolvScout and SolvSRK access; and
- Is marked valid in Sponsor’s review systems (after automated checks and/or human review).
Incomplete submissions are rejected at submit and do not count. Entries marked invalid do not count toward the 100-entry cap. Once an entry is marked valid, it will not be removed from the valid count except by a logged human override for fraud, ineligibility, or rule violation.
Prize-eligible path: place prizes are awarded only among valid entries that document a SolvScout → SolvSRK journey (Scout recommended SolvSRK, entrant used SolvSRK, and the entry describes the result). Feedback where Scout recommended a different path may still be a valid participation entry for extension rewards if it meets completeness rules, but it is not eligible for place prizes.
12.6 Participation rewards (extensions and referrals)
These are participation rewards, not place prizes:
| Action | Reward |
|---|---|
| Each valid entry | +30 days SolvSRK on the entrant’s account |
| Second valid entry (different problem) | +30 days SolvSRK |
Each new signup completed via the entrant’s invite link (ref), after the entrant has submitted | +30 days SolvSRK to the referring entrant, maximum two (2) referral credits per entrant |
The standard SolvSRK signup trial (typically 30 days) remains available under product terms. Contest rewards extend SolvSRK access as described above. Referral credits require a genuine new signup; self-referrals and duplicate credits are void. Approximate retail value of each +30-day extension is about USD $83, based on a USD $999 / year SolvSRK license.
12.7 Judging
Valid, prize-eligible entries are evaluated by Paul West, Resonix Co-Founder and CTO, with administrative support from the Resonix team, using:
| Criterion | Weight |
|---|---|
| Magnitude of the win | 30% |
| Evidence quality | 25% |
| Real-world relevance | 20% |
| Clarity of the SolvScout-to-SolvSRK journey | 15% |
| Story clarity | 10% |
AI-assisted tools may organize submissions, check completeness, summarize entrant-provided information, extract claimed metrics, and generate provisional scores. AI does not select winners. Paul West makes the final technical determination.
Ties: higher evidence-quality score wins; if still tied, higher magnitude-of-win score; if still tied, documented determination by the judging lead.
Location, employer prestige, social following, production polish, optional marketing permissions, and any internal commercial interest in the entrant’s employer do not affect judging.
Sponsor may request clarification or verification. Failure to respond within seven (7) calendar days may result in disqualification or skipping that entry for a place prize.
12.8 Place prizes
Up to ten (10) place prizes may be awarded among eligible, prize-eligible, valid entries. If fewer than ten qualified entries exist, Sponsor awards only the places supported by qualified entries and does not invent winners.
| Place | Prize | Approximate retail value (ARV) |
|---|---|---|
| 1st — Solver Survivor Champion | Twelve (12) months SolvSRK license (Python, one named-user seat) + one (1) hour session with Paul West (CTO) + one (1) Solver Survivor Champion t-shirt | USD $999 (software) + USD $30 (shirt). The CTO hour has no separate cash value and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. |
| 2nd–5th (4 prizes) | Twelve (12) months SolvSRK license (Python, one named-user seat) each | USD $999 each |
| 6th–10th (5 prizes) | Six (6) months SolvSRK license (Python, one named-user seat) each | USD $500 each |
Approximate total ARV if all ten software/shirt place prizes are awarded: about USD $7,525 (plus the Champion hour with no separate cash ARV).
There are no cash prizes. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Software prizes:
- SolvSRK license, Python, one named-user seat only.
- Begin after winner verification and license activation.
- Subject to then-current SolvSRK license terms.
- Do not include Site/Embedded rights, extra seats, paid support upgrades, or cash equivalent.
- Have no residual cash value if unused or if the winner cannot accept a software license.
Champion t-shirt: fulfilled through Printify or another provider after the winner confirms size and a shippable address. If Sponsor cannot reasonably ship the shirt to the winner’s location, Sponsor may instead credit USD $30 toward SolvSRK license time on the winner’s account. Lost or undeliverable merchandise after shipment to the address provided by the winner will not be replaced except at Sponsor’s discretion.
CTO hour (1st only): one scheduled remote session of up to one hour. Not a sales call, not ongoing consulting, not transferable. Scheduling subject to reasonable availability after winner confirmation.
Winners are responsible for taxes and expenses not expressly included.
12.9 Publicity — Champion name and prize acceptance
Solver Survivor Champion (1st place)
By entering, if you are selected as 1st place, Sponsor may publicly identify you by name as Solver Survivor Champion on the Contest page and Resonix social channels when winners are announced, without waiting for prize acceptance.
Accepting the Champion prize package also releases your story / approved entry content (and company or institution only if you confirm authority) for broader promotion as described at acceptance.
If you refuse the Champion prize within the response window in §12.10, you forfeit; Sponsor may name the next eligible entry as Champion and update the Contest page.
Places 2nd–10th
Optional marketing permissions on the entry form are not required to enter or to be judged.
Accepting a place prize (2nd–10th) requires permission for Sponsor to use your name and story / entry text for Contest and product promotion, or you forfeit that prize and Sponsor may offer it to the next eligible entry.
12.10 Winner notification and verification
Potential place-prize winners will be contacted using the email on their Resonix account on or about November 9, 2026 (or when judging completes). A potential winner must respond within seven (7) calendar days and may be required to complete eligibility confirmation, prize acceptance, tax documentation where required, and any legally required release.
If a potential winner does not respond, is ineligible, cannot accept, or does not complete required documentation, Sponsor may select the next highest-scoring eligible entry.
Winners (including Champion name) will be posted on https://www.resonix.io/challenge.
12.11 Entry materials and required internal license
Entrants retain ownership of their entry material.
By entering, each entrant grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, transmit to approved service providers, and internally use the entry material only as reasonably necessary to administer the Contest, review and verify the entry, prevent fraud, select and notify winners, fulfill rewards and prizes, resolve disputes, and comply with law, subject to the Privacy Policy.
This required internal license does not by itself grant unrestricted public marketing rights (except the Champion name announcement in §12.9).
12.12 Optional marketing permissions
The entry form may separately ask for optional permission to use comments/story text and/or name in marketing, and for product email opt-in. Those choices are not required for eligibility, judging, or participation rewards.
Sponsor will not identify an entrant’s employer or institution in marketing without the entrant’s confirmation that they are authorized to permit that use.
12.13 Privacy and AI-assisted processing
Personal information is processed according to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (linked from resonix.io).
Entry material may be processed with AI-assisted tools for organization, completeness checks, summarization, and provisional scoring as described in §12.7. Sponsor will not use optional marketing content beyond the permissions you grant.
12.14 General conditions
Sponsor may disqualify an entrant who tampers with entry, submits false or unauthorized material, violates these Official Rules, acts disruptively, or undermines the Contest.
If fraud, technical failure, security incident, force majeure, or another circumstance materially affects integrity or feasibility, Sponsor may suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest, subject to applicable law. If feasible, Sponsor will evaluate eligible entries received before that action.
Sponsor’s failure to enforce a provision does not waive it.
12.15 Release and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, by entering you release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim arising out of participation or prize/reward acceptance or use, except for liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited).
Software and services are provided subject to their own license and terms. Platforms used to promote or fulfill the Contest (including social networks and Printify) are not sponsors of the Contest.
12.16 Governing law
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Cayman Islands, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise.
12.17 Winners list
Winners will be posted at https://www.resonix.io/challenge on or about November 9, 2026. For a winners list request after that date, email challenge@resonixlabs.io with subject line “Solver Survivor winners list” within ninety (90) days of the announcement.
12.18 Platform disclaimer
The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Discord, YouTube, Printify, or any other platform used to communicate about or fulfill the Contest.
