Stiff runs. Real data. Tell us what happened.

Solver Survivor is an engineer challenge for people who run simulations and Python ODE work. Use SolvScout. If it points to SolvSRK, put the trial on your hardest problem. Submit the story. Top verified entries win free SolvSRK subscriptions. First place is named Solver Survivor Champion.

No purchase necessary. A purchase will not improve your chance of winning. Skill-based judging. See Official Rules.

Winners announced November 9 on this page.

  2. 2

Try SolvSRK when Scout recommends it

If SolvScout recommends SolvSRK, start the 30-day trial and test it on that same problem - locally on your machine.

This is not a hackathon

You do not build software for Resonix. You do not submit proprietary models or customer code. SolvScout and SolvSRK run locally. The entry is your written story plus short SolvScout / SolvSRK call snippets that show you used the products.

FAQ

Do I have to buy anything?
No. SolvScout is free for registered users. SolvSRK has a 30-day trial. No purchase is necessary.
Do I submit my model or source code?
No. Do not paste proprietary models, customer data, confidential code, classified or export-controlled material, or anything your employer has not authorized. Paste only the solver-call snippets the form asks for.
How many entries can I submit?
Up to two, on two different problems, from the same account.
Who judges?
Paul West (Co-Founder & CTO) leads technical review. AI may help organize entries. AI does not choose winners.
